Launched in 2006, the Patek Philippe ref. 5960 annual calendar flyback chronograph represented a milestone for the esteemed manufacture. Along with the Nautilus ref. 5980, this model marked the first time Patek Philippe incorporated an in-house chronograph movement into a non-perpetual calendar watch. At the time, most Patek Philippe watches utilized Lemania ébauches, but the ref. 5960 debuted the brand's first entirely in-house designed and assembled chronograph caliber.
