Gran Prix Open 2025
Umberto and Riccardo Verga enthusiastically participated in the Grand Prix Open 2025, an exclusive charity golf event held on Thursday, 4 September 2025, at the Milan Golf Club.
Now in its fourth edition, the tournament – ideated by Paolo Ligresti – combines sport, elegance and solidarity, raising funds in support of the Bambi.ni Insieme Foundation and Play More!'s ‘WeSport’ project, dedicated to promoting sport and inclusion among children in vulnerable situations.
Verga 1947 had the pleasure of sponsoring the event, sharing the values of social commitment and passion for sport that have always characterised the Grand Prix Open.
The day, between competition on the green and moments of conviviality, once again confirmed the success of an event capable of combining sporting passion and solidarity in an atmosphere of friendship and sincere participation.

Pietro x Verga 1947
We are delighted to announce a new collaboration that pays tribute to Milan.
Together with Pietro Terzini, one of the most representative voices of contemporary creativity, we have created a project that combines art, tradition, and innovation.
The slogan chosen for the campaign— “Watches are no longer necessary, which is why they are indispensable” – expresses our philosophy: after more than 75 years of history, we continue to renew ourselves, remaining authentic and close to new generations.
On Wednesday, October 1, we officially presented this extraordinary collaboration at Glauco Cavaciuti's art gallery. It was a special moment, shared with friends and customers, which marked the beginning of a new chapter.
The heart of the project will be a mural in Corso Garibaldi 71, which in October and November will bring Terzini's vision to the streets of Milan. Not just a work to be admired, but a true visual and cultural landmark: an open dialogue between the watchmaking tradition of Verga 1947 and the creative energy of the city that has always accompanied us.
With this collaboration, we want to portray time as a living, fluid concept in constant transformation. For us, time is not only measured by watches: it is made up of experiences, passions, and innovations. We remain faithful to our identity, our family history, and our unbreakable bond with Milan, but we choose to look ahead, building new connections with art, culture, and generations.
